Manchester City want to sign Pedro Neto

As the summer transfer window draws closer, Europe’s top clubs have begun working to strengthen their squads. According to talkSPORT, the reigning English champions Manchester City have identified a replacement for a winger expected to leave the club. Brazilian forward Savinho reportedly wants to leave Manchester City because he has not been given enough playing time. After a difficult season at the Etihad Stadium, the player is close to joining Tottenham. Spurs have been monitoring Savinho for the past 12 months and view him as a priority signing.

A potential reunion between Enzo Maresca and Pedro Neto

If Savinho leaves, Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca wants to bring Pedro Neto to the club to strengthen the wings. The manager previously worked with the Portuguese winger at Chelsea. This could further increase the likelihood of the transfer taking place.

Pedro Neto has performed consistently since joining Chelsea from Wolverhampton in 2024. He has started 54 league matches for the London club, scoring nine goals and recording 21 goal involvements in total. Nevertheless, his future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain.

Changes and competition at Chelsea
