In January-February 2026, about 1.77 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan. This figure is 441 thousand people or 33 percent more than in the same period last year.
According to statistics, the majority of tourists arriving in the country traditionally come from neighboring countries. In particular, Kyrgyzstan took the leading position, taking first place with more than 521 thousand citizens. Tajikistan (469 thousand) and Kazakhstan (386 thousand) are in the next places.
Also among the countries that sent the most tourists were Russia (123 thousand), Afghanistan (83 thousand), Turkmenistan (51 thousand), China (49 thousand), Turkey (24 thousand), India (9 thousand) and South Korea (5 thousand). These indicators once again confirm the growing tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
