After that, Bilbao lost their defensive compactness and began making frequent mistakes under pressure. In the third-goal episode, goalkeeper Unai Simon also acted unsuccessfully, and Runi Bardji took advantage with an accurate finish from the right side.
Then Raphinha struck powerfully, sending the ball in under the crossbar to make it 4–0. By half-time, there was almost no intrigue left.
