The visitors took the lead thanks to goals in the 51st and 66th minutes. Near the end of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo converted a penalty to reduce the deficit, but the team could not avoid defeat.
After the game, the 40-year-old forward addressed fans on social media: “The fight isn’t over yet. We’ll keep working, and together we will definitely achieve success!”
Al-Nassr started the season with 10 straight wins, but have collected only one point from their last three matches. The team is in second place and trails leaders Al-Hilal by four points ahead of their head-to-head clash.
