Serbian fitness coach Ciric joins Andijon

Ahead of the new season, Andijon have strengthened their coaching staff with another experienced specialist. From now on, physical conditioning work in the team will be led by Serbian coach Branko Ciric.
Born on 21 May 1983, Ciric is one of those specialists who play the role of a true “fitness factory” in football. His most recent job was with Kazakhstan’s Astana, where he further enriched his experience working under high demands and a strict regime.
Ciric’s experience is not limited to Astana: earlier he worked as a fitness coach with Serbia’s Vojdovas, Radnichki and Chukarikchi, and also with Kazakhstan’s Aktau. Different leagues, different styles—meaning he hasn’t stayed in the same “air”; he adapts quickly.
During his time in Kazakhstan, Ciric won the national league title and the Cup with Astana. He also has experience playing in the Europa League and the Conference League with the team. In other words, he knows well what Europe’s high tempo and tight schedule are like.
The club’s expectations are high: with Branko Ciric’s arrival, Andijon’s players are expected to improve their physical condition, with endurance and speed indicators increasing. Fans, naturally, want to see a team that “doesn’t run out of fuel even in the second half” on the pitch.
