Milan extend unbeaten Serie A run to 17 matches

In the next round of Serie A, Milan came very close to suffering a second defeat at home against Genoa. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

Massimiliano Allegri’s side finished the match 1–1, avoiding defeat. The ending could have been completely different: in the 99th minute the visitors were awarded a penalty, but a Genoa player squandered the chance, sending the ball over the bar.

That very episode saved the Rossoneri from defeat. So far, Milan’s only disappointing result in the league came in August — a loss to Cremonese in Round 1.

Milan are second in the Italian league with 39 points. Inter lead the standings with 42 points.
