Aleksey Nikitin shared his thoughts on the Real vs Atletico match played in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final. According to the former Ufa player, the Madrid derby was evenly matched in terms of performance, and Diego Simeone’s side did not deserve to lose. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Speaking on Match TV, Nikitin said Real were seen as the favorites, but in his view Atletico came into the game better prepared. He noted that Simeone found a way to break through the opponent’s defense, with many dangerous chances created especially from the flanks.
