The Pinterest social network published an annual report on the hottest trends and images of the coming year. Analysis of global search queries for the period from September 2023 to August 2025 showed which directions are gaining popularity, reports WWD.
Among the main trends are cool colors, shimmering makeup, lace, and vampire-style Gothic. Cold blue is especially noticeable: searches for the glaciyer aesthetic query increased by 35%, icy blue - by 50%, and frosted makeup - by 150%.
Pinterest also predicts the growth of glitch glam beauty - asymmetric makeup, "broken" lines, and colorful manicures. Retro and literature enthusiasts pay attention to poetcore, inspired by vintage images and neutral-colored dresses, voluminous jackets, and messenger bags.
Fans of glamoretti and the luxury of the 80s, who focused on sculptural silhouettes, as well as nature enthusiasts, were not left out - the wildlife style combines delicate animal patterns, butterflies, leaves, and freckles, creating the image of a forest nymph.
Additionally, Pinterest notes that Generation Z is particularly actively seeking poetcore and Gothic aesthetics, and is also interested in unusual scents and nish perfumes.
Overall, the report indicates that in 2026, experimental images, colorful games, inspiration from nature and the past will return to fashion, and boldness in style will become a real must-have.
