In the 14th round of the Turkish Super League, Istanbul Bashakshehir defeated Kasımpasha 3-1 away. The active participation of two Uzbekistani foreign players - Eldor Shomurodov and Abbosbek Fayzullayev - in scoring contributed to the club's victory. After the match, the team's head coach, Nuri Shahin, spoke warmly about the two players.
Shomurodov - high skill, modest behavior
The coach specifically mentioned Eldor, stating that he is at a high level both as a person and as a player.
"Eldor is not only a strong striker, but also a very sincere and humble person. He doesn't have any star-like rough behavior. Whatever we say, he does it with an open heart - a true professional," Shahin said.
Shomurodov scored the team's third goal in the final minutes of the match, securing the victory.
Fayzullaev - a player who will change the fate of the game
Abbosbek Fayzullayev opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a beautiful goal from a free kick. Nuri Shahin rated her performance as follows:
"Abbosbek and Amine Harit had difficulty adapting to the new country in the summer. But we believed them because we knew their potential well. Both are players who can instantly change the fate of the game. And today they played an important role in our victory."
Shahin also noted that Fayzullayev recently returned from injury and confidently stated that by the winter break, he would return to his true form.
Uzbek legionnaires once again loudly proclaimed their name in the Turkish championship. Bashakshehir's victory helped the team climb the table, while Shomurodov and Fayzullayev's performance gave fans even greater hope.
