Modric saves in the end: Milan wins at Pisa

That's what a game is - it makes you feel like "everything is fine" for 90 minutes, and then in a moment it makes your heart beat faster. In the 25th round of the Italian Serie A, Milan had just such a dramatic night away against Pisa - a 2-1 victory, but not easy, three points that were earned "by sweat".
In the first half, the "rossoneri" played quite calmly. The score opened in the 39th minute: Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored a goal and the guests seemed to be in control of the game.
In the second half, football said, "I'm not done yet." In the 56th minute, Milan could have increased the lead with a penalty, but Niklas Füllkrug failed to convert the penalty. At that moment, there was a clear signal in the air: on such a night, every opportunity is worth twice as much.
Pisa was also encouraged by this. In the 71st minute, they equalized - Loyola scored and the stadium completely "awakened". For Milan, the situation in those minutes was simple: either the pressure eats you, or you eat the pressure.
And that's when great experience came to the fore. In the 85th minute, Luka Modric scored the decisive shot, giving Milan the winning goal. In an attacking episode, he took advantage of the "free" ball in the penalty area - in such moments, time does not stop, only the mind works quickly.
The end was not without drama: in the 90+1 minute, Adrien Rabiot was sent off for a second yellow card. But the score remained the same - the Rossoneri took the three points with them to Milan.

Red card: Rabiot 90+1 (second yellow card).
This victory is also very important in the tournament table: Massimiliano Allegri's team has risen to 53 points, remaining in 2nd place, and is trying to reduce the gap to the leaders Inter. Pisa, on the other hand, is in a difficult situation in the lower ranks with 15 points.
In short: Milan answered "I'm still here" in the championship race. Yes, there were mistakes, penalties and red cards. But on nights like these, the one thing that sets great teams apart is the ability to pull out a result even when the game is difficult. If this spirit continues in the next rounds, second place may become "just a number".
