Uzbek judokas climbed up the world rankings

The International Judo Federation has released the updated world rankings for athletes following the "OTP Group Tashkent Grand Slam 2026" competition. Uzbek judokas, who performed successfully at the prestigious tournament held in our capital, have significantly improved their standings.
Notably, Shukurjon Aminova, who won her first "Grand Slam" title, made a major leap. By earning 1000 ranking points, she moved from 15th to 8th place. Additionally, Shahram Ahadov, Alisher Yusupov, Umar Bozorov, Murodjon Yuldoshev, Ernazar Sarsenbayev, Muzaffarbek Turoboyev, Laziza Haydarova, Ulbusin Hakimova, Sogdiona Rafkatova, Umida Nigmatova, and Fotima Kuramboyeva improved their positions in their respective weight classes, solidifying their places among the top judokas.
According to the press service of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, this success of our athletes creates an important foundation for achieving even higher results in future international competitions. Currently, our judokas are continuing their preparations for the next prestigious tournaments.
