Starting tomorrow, February 18, Tarawih prayers will be held in more than 2,000 mosques across the republic. This was reported by the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that Tarawih prayers will begin every day after 20:30 and approximately 1 million citizens can participate in them.
About 20 thousand employees and military personnel of the internal affairs bodies, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be involved in ensuring public order and security.
The area around the mosques is equipped with video surveillance cameras, which are connected to the monitoring center. Also, about 2,500 Road Patrol Service officers serve to ensure road safety.
Traffic will be temporarily restricted on the streets where some mosques are located, special barriers will be installed at entrances, and separate parking lots will be organized at a distance of 150 meters. More than 200 units of special equipment will be brought to readiness for emergencies.
