Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Dono Bobokhonova died at the age of 80. The State Drama Theater of Uzbekistan officially reported this. Her death is considered a great loss for Uzbek art.
Dono Bobokhonova was born on November 20, 1946. She studied at the Tashkent Institute of Theater and Art and began her creative career at the “Young Guards” Theater. Later, this theater began to operate under the name of the Uzbek State Drama Theater named after Abror Hidoyatov.
The actress was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan” in 1996 for her fruitful work and contribution to the development of art. Along with her roles on stage, she also left her mark in the world of cinema.
Dono Bobokhonova has won the hearts of viewers with her roles in films such as "The Man Who Never Saw the Market", "If You Dislike Me, You Will Die", "The Old Man and the Grandson", and "Let Your Tongue Speak".
