Man caught selling $4,800 worth of illegal e-cigarettes in Tashkent
Illegal sales of electronic cigarettes without excise stamps were uncovered in Tashkent, reported UPL.uz.

Officers from the Yashnabad District Department of the Prosecutor General's Office conducted a special operation, detaining a man attempting to sell 365 “Loco” brand e-cigarettes for 61 million UZS (approx. $4,800).

The lack of excise stamps on the products confirmed that they had been illegally imported into Uzbekistan.

A criminal case has been initiated under the article “Illegal circulation or production of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and tobacco products” of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
