7th grader who drove the Captiva identified

A truly astonishing case was recorded in the Chimboy district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. During a preventive raid carried out by the State Traffic Safety Service, it was revealed that a 7th-grade student, who does not have a driver's license, was behind the wheel of a Captiva car.

During the raid, the vehicle was stopped by inspectors, and during a detailed inspection, it was discovered that the driver was still a school student. This case prompts serious reflection not only on traffic violations but also on child upbringing and parental responsibility.

Necessary documentation was processed for the incident, and the case materials were forwarded to the district commission on juvenile affairs for legal action. The commission is expected to thoroughly examine the case and make an appropriate decision.

In addition, a special preventive meeting was organized with the participation of the student, his parents, and local citizens of the mahalla. During the meeting, it was emphasized to the parents that strict supervision over their children’s activities is necessary, and they should not fall for temporary illusions like “everyone is driving”.

The Traffic Safety Service warned in its official statement:

“Dear parents! Do not endanger your child’s life by supporting a momentary excitement. Driving a vehicle is not a toy. Carelessness can lead to tragic accidents!”

This incident once again highlights: every child is a parent’s treasure. But ensuring their future is not put at risk is also the duty of those very parents. A momentary desire to “feel like an adult” should not turn into lifelong regret.
