Brazilian footballer Neymar donated $250,000 to help victims of two powerful earthquakes in Venezuela. The funds are reportedly intended to provide food, drinking water, medicine and temporary shelter. The footballer expressed his solidarity with the Venezuelan people on social media.

Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, also promoted an international charity initiative to support the victims. She urged her followers to donate to the relief fund.

The campaign had raised more than $5 million by the end of June. This money was not a personal donation from the Messi family, but a collective contribution from many people.
