The last bell ceremony at a school branch in the Dehqonobod district of the Qashqadaryo region took place in a unique atmosphere this year. The reason is that only three students graduated from this educational institution in the 2025/26 academic year.
In the village of Qurilish, located nearly 70 kilometers from the district center, difficulties with internet and mobile connectivity still persist. Despite this, the graduates expressed their satisfaction with successfully completing school and shared their future plans.
The students noted that due to the small number of classmates, opportunities to participate in certain sports competitions and team events were limited. However, this situation did not affect their desire to gain knowledge.
It is noted that the quality of education at this school has improved significantly in recent years. As a result of incentives created for educational institutions in remote areas, qualified pedagogues from other regions have been attracted. In particular, experienced teachers from the Andijon region are working here.
According to the teachers, the school, which had low performance indicators a few years ago, is now taking steps toward change. Students are actively participating in subject olympiads, various competitions, and national certification programs, showing good results.
During the last bell ceremony, the President's congratulatory message was read to the graduates, and exemplary students and dedicated pedagogues were awarded.
Notably, while hundreds of thousands of students across the country graduated from school, the fact that only three graduates joined the ranks at this village school sparked widespread interest.
