Famous Dutch manager Erik ten Hag has received substantial compensation after his short stint at Bayer Leverkusen. According to information published by the German publication Sport Bild, he received approximately 5 million euros in compensation for his dismissal.
As a reminder, Erik ten Hag took charge of the "aspirins" in May of this year. However, he started his new season in the German championship unsuccessfully. In the first two Bundesliga matches, Bayer Leverkusen earned only one point, a result that seriously alarmed the club's management.
The Leverkusen team will now face Eintracht Frankfurt at home in their next domestic league match. The match kicks off at 11:30 PM (Tashkent time) on Friday, September 12th.
Erik ten Hag has significant results in his coaching career. He won the FA Cup and the League Cup during his time at Manchester United. He also won the Dutch championship three times under the management of Ajax.
Despite this, after his short trip at Bayer Leverkusen, he left his position before he could adapt, and now questions about his future career have increased even more.
