Bulykin Predicts Potential Emergence of Two Top Scorers in Russian National Team

Former Russia national football team striker Dmitry Bulykin has commented on FIFA's stance regarding a goal scored in a 2005 friendly match against Germany. FIFA representatives have clarified that the goal scored in the final moments of the match was credited not to Andrey Arshavin but to Aleksandr Kerzhakov.

The Russian Football Union reminded that the final decision lies with the German Football Association, as they hold the authority to amend the match protocol. Bulykin described the situation as odd and expressed his confusion as to why this issue has resurfaced now.

In his opinion, if the goal scorer is revisited, it could result in Russia's national team history having two top scorers. He added that such a development would not be a negative outcome.

According to current official statistics, Kerzhakov has scored 30 goals for the national team, while Artem Dzyuba has 31.
