The complete lineup for the highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, has been officially confirmed. Following the conclusion of the European qualification rounds, all 48 participating national teams have secured their spots and discovered their opponents for the group stage of the tournament.
This historic edition of the World Cup marks the first time the tournament will feature an expanded format of 48 teams, moving away from the traditional 32-team structure. The participating nations have been divided into twelve groups, ranging from Group A to Group L, with four teams competing in each section to advance to the knockout phases.
The host nations have been placed in the opening groups. Mexico leads Group A alongside South Africa, South Korea, and the Czech Republic. Canada is positioned in Group B, where they will face Switzerland, Qatar, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
