Mamdani noted similarities between his political career and Arteta's management style. He admitted that he was initially against replacing Aaron Ramsdale with David Raya in the starting lineup. "I loved Ramsdale, he was a fan favorite. But the decision regarding David Raya showed that Arteta doesn't just want to compete, but to win," the New York politician told GQ.
