FIFA severely punishes Argentina over disorder at the final

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) disciplinary committee imposed official financial and organizational sanctions on the Argentine Football Association (AFA). Due to the recorded violations and the disorder that occurred after the final, the organization was fined a total of 321,000 US dollars and restrictions were imposed on fan attendance at the national team’s next home matches.
