One-Year-Old Child’s Leg Gets Stuck in Toilet Pipe

Kazakhstan’s Almaty Region’s Zhambyl District witnessed an unusual incident. In the village of Qarg‘ali, a one-year-old child’s leg became trapped in a metal pipe belonging to a toilet structure.

After the incident was reported to the 112 emergency number, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. The child’s leg was tightly wedged inside the pipe, making it impossible to remove it without assistance.

The rescuers worked extremely carefully to avoid injuring the child. Using special metal shears, they cut the pipe step by step, widening the space around the child’s leg.

The rescue operation lasted more than an hour. In the end, the child was freed from the pipe and handed over to an ambulance crew for a medical examination.

The incident once again highlighted the importance of not leaving children unattended and ensuring their safety in household areas.
