Apple is developing a completely new generation of displays for its anniversary iPhone smartphone. According to insider Ice Universe, this technology may be called the Liquid Glass Display. Ixbt.com reports on this.
The new screen differs fundamentally from the traditional curved displays that have been used in Android flagships for many years. Its degree of curvature is very subtle, creating a visual illusion through special optical refraction and light-transmitting structures.
As a result, the smartphone bezels completely disappear from view, and the image on the edges maintains a natural appearance. Although the display gives the impression of flowing like a liquid, it remains as clear and transparent as glass.
Earlier, reports surfaced that Apple is collaborating with Samsung on this project. According to the data, the new device is expected to feature a curved construction on all four sides.
