Xiaomi has expanded its home appliance lineup in the European market by unveiling the new Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer (8KG). This device is a 2-in-1 solution combining washing and drying functions, designed for small apartments and modern smart homes. The new model is priced at 540 euros. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The device is equipped with a 525 mm diameter drum and supports a load of up to 8 kg. To improve washing quality, Power Wash technology has been introduced, providing a powerful water flow for deep fabric cleaning. For hygienic treatment, there is a special steam cleaning mode — according to Xiaomi, this method eliminates 99.99% of bacteria.
The machine also features the Smart Dry Control system: special sensors automatically stop the drying process at the right time to prevent clothes from overheating and damaging the fabric. Additionally, the model boasts high energy efficiency, consuming 30% less electricity than the EU Class A standard.
Users are offered over 30 programs, including a 15-minute quick wash and a One-Tap wash-and-dry mode that starts the entire cycle with a single button. The device is fully integrated into the Xiaomi Home ecosystem: via the smartphone app, it is possible to monitor the process remotely, customize personal scenarios, and update software over-the-air.
