Uzbekistan and Korea to develop tourism
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul and South Korea's UN-affiliated Global Organization for the Support of City Tourism signed an agreement to develop tourism. This was reported by The Korea Herald.

The document envisages the development of routes among Korean cities and Silk Road cultural heritage sites, including Samarkand. The agreement was signed on October 27 at the first global city tourism summit held in Busan.

Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to organize cultural tours, exhibitions, festivals, as well as to hold Uzbekistan Culture Week in Busan. Uzbekistan's ambassador to Korea, Alisher Abdusalomov, stated that the launch of a regular Tashkent – Busan – Tashkent flight will facilitate travel and create opportunities for joint tourism projects.
