Some roads in Sergeli will be closed due to New Year's celebrations

In the Sergeli district of Tashkent, starting tomorrow, December 25, mass events dedicated to the "New Year" holiday are planned to be organized on the 24/7 gastronomic tourism street. In this regard, the movement of vehicles on some streets will be temporarily restricted. This was reported by the press service of the district administration.

According to official information, the section of Sogdiana Street from the intersection with Yangi Sergeli Street to the intersection of Jaloyir and Bagrikeng Streets, as well as the section of Jaloyir Street from Sogdiana Street to Obihayot Street, will be closed until January 10, 2026.

Local authorities and responsible services emphasize that these restrictions are being introduced to ensure the safe, orderly, and high-quality organization of festive events, as well as to create a comfortable environment for residents and guests.

Taking into account changes in traffic, drivers are asked to use alternative routes.
