In January 2026, 589,647 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes. This was reported by the National Statistical Committee.
It was noted that the indicator increased by 38.2 thousand people or 6.9 percent compared to the corresponding period last year. Experts attribute this growth to the growing interest in international travel.
According to the data, the largest number of trips was made to Kyrgyzstan - 232,174 people. Also, 98,659 citizens went to Tajikistan and 88,012 to Kazakhstan.
62,655 Uzbek citizens traveled to Saudi Arabia, and 32,291 to Russia. These countries were the most popular destinations in January.
In addition, 17,288 citizens went to Turkey and 16,030 to the UAE. 6,890 trips were made to Thailand, 6,117 to China, and 4,585 to Egypt.
