Time 2025: The 100 Most Influential People in the World Announced
Time magazine has announced its traditional “100 Most Influential People” list for 2025. This year’s selection covers a wide range of personalities, from politics to the arts, science and technology. The individuals on the list are categorized into six areas.

Leaders:
US President Donald Trump, Vice President Jay DeVine, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Argentine President Javier Solana, German Chancellor-elect Friedrich Meir, Syrian interim leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, and Elon Musk and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick are among the nominees.

Time magazine wrote about Trump:

"No modern president has wielded more control over the U.S. government. His plans to annex Greenland and his threats to cut off aid to Ukraine still worry allies," it said.

Titans:
Serena Williams, Simone Biles, and Mark Zuckerberg are among the nominees.

Artists:
Singer Ed Sheeran and actress Scarlett Johansson are among the "Artisans" on Time's list.

Icons:
2025 Golden Globe winner Demi Moore, Oscar winner Adrien Brody, Emmy winner Hiroyuki Sanada, ABC journalist David Muir, and writer Raquel Willis rounded out the “Icons” category.

Innovators:
CGIAR head Ismohane Elouafi, rapper Snoop Dogg, actress Nikki Glazer, and astronomer Wendy Friedman have all taken their places in this field.

Pioneers:
Nobel laureate Demis Hassabis, Blackpink star Rose (Park Jae-yong), Miles Smith, known for the song “Stargazing” and entrepreneur Andrew Forrest were recognized by Time in this category.

This list by Time magazine is compiled to recognize the activities and influence of the people who have had the greatest impact on the world during the year.
