Lebanese Prime Minister accuses Iran of leading the war

Armed conflicts in the Middle East have entered a new, more dangerous phase. Sharp statements by the Lebanese government and strikes by the Israeli army on strategic infrastructure have brought the situation in the region to the brink of explosion. Zamin.uz analyzes the controversial interview of the Lebanese Prime Minister and the latest changes on the battlefield.
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, in an interview with Saudi Arabia's Al Hadath TV channel, revealed that the military operations in the country are directly under the control of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to the Prime Minister, members of the IIMK are infiltrating Lebanon with forged documents and leading Hezbollah operations.
Special charges: Drones and the Revenge War
Navof Salom put forward a number of other serious claims:
- Attack on Cyprus: drone attacks on the British Akrotiri base in early March were carried out by the IIMK.
- Forced war: The Prime Minister emphasized that Hezbollah is forcing the Lebanese people back into a "revenge war" for Ali Khaminai's death and drawing the country into a devastating conflict.
- Prohibition: The Lebanese government has already banned the activities of the Military-Industrial Complex on the territory of the country and called on Hezbollah to disarm.
Israel's "bridge tactics" and destruction
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is implementing a ground-breaking strategy in southern Lebanon. By order of Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, all important bridges over the Litani River were destroyed.
- The goal: to cut Hezbollah's supply routes and create a "buffer zone" on the southern border.
- Land operation: Chief of the General Staff of the SAHAL, Eyal Zamir, approved a plan to further expand the scale of the offensive.
Human casualties and international relations
Lebanese President Joseph Aun strongly condemned Israel's actions, while Human Rights Watch called the mass demolition of houses a "war crime." According to the latest data, the death toll in Lebanon has exceeded 1,000. The fact that there are 120 children and 80 women among them shows how tragic the situation is. The death of 40 medical workers further exacerbates the humanitarian crisis.
Dear readers, do you think the Lebanese government can escape the influence of the IIMK and Hezbollah? Will Israel's destruction of infrastructure determine the fate of the war?
