A new personnel policy is actively being implemented in local administration and state bodies in Samarkand region. Recently, Shunkor Khudoyberdiev, who previously worked as the deputy khokim of the region for agriculture and water management, was officially approved as the khokim of the Payarik district.
In addition, there have been major changes in the leadership of two other districts in the region — Toylok and Urgut. Bahodir Qodirovich Bobonazarov, who had served as khokim of Toylok district since August 2018, was dismissed from his position. In his place, Behzod Rahmatullaevich Rahmatullaev was appointed as the new khokim of the district. Until now, he worked as the head of the organizational and personnel group of the regional khokimiyat.
Botir Jabborov, who had served as khokim of Urgut district since November 2020, was also relieved of his post. The new head of the district is now Saidqulov Dilmurod Bastamovich, who previously worked as the deputy prosecutor of Samarkand region.
Along with these changes in local governance, by presidential decree, Farrukh Mansurovich Babaev was appointed as the head of the Samarkand regional tax administration. Previously, he served as the director of the department for control over the activities of tax authorities in the Tax Committee.
Such new appointments in Samarkand are regarded as an important step towards attracting modern approaches and competent personnel to local public administration. The population and public of the region expect significant results from the renewed leadership in terms of regional development, improving the effectiveness of economic and social reforms. In the coming days, new initiatives and practical outcomes may be observed as a result of these changes.
