President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the sidelines of the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States. The dialogue focused on further developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, accelerating the implementation of reached agreements, and expanding new areas of cooperation.

At the beginning of the conversation, it was emphasized that Shavkat Mirziyoyev's official visit to Ankara in January of this year opened a new chapter in Uzbekistan-Turkey relations. This visit was assessed as a significant event that elevated political dialogue, economic cooperation, and practical projects between the two brotherly nations to a higher level.

During the meeting, it was noted that active dialogue and constant exchanges regarding the implementation of high-level agreements are ongoing. The new system established between ministries and agencies is also contributing to organizing multifaceted cooperation more effectively.

It was specifically highlighted that the trade volume between the two countries has been consistently growing since the beginning of the year. At the same time, the number of joint ventures, investment initiatives, and air travel between the two countries is increasing. This shows that economic ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey are developing actively not only in official statements but also in practice.

A significant portfolio of projects formed with the participation of Turkish companies was also mentioned at the meeting. These projects are being implemented in industry, infrastructure, services, transport, and other key areas, opening new opportunities for the business communities of both countries.

The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkey also exchanged views on pressing international and regional issues. In today's complex geopolitical situation, reliable dialogue, mutual support, and a strategic approach between brotherly states are becoming even more important.

In short, the meeting between Mirziyoyev and Erdogan once again demonstrated that Uzbekistan-Turkey relations are becoming increasingly stable, reliable, and enriched with practical content. Trade is growing, projects are multiplying, and dialogue continues at a high level. The formula for this cooperation is simple: there is brotherhood, there is trust, and now the results are becoming increasingly visible.
