Fans of Premier League clubs prefer Manchester City to become champions

A survey by The Athletic of supporters from 18 Premier League clubs found that many fans would rather see "Manchester City" win the title than "Arsenal" at the end of the season. The result suggests that, despite "Manchester City" facing ongoing criticism, a large share of rival supporters still see Pep Guardiola’s side as the more acceptable champion.
Strong support for "Manchester City" was recorded among fans of several clubs, including "Aston Villa" at 62.2%, "Bournemouth" at 61.1%, "Brighton" at 64.4%, "Burnley" at 54.5%, "Chelsea" at 84.8%, "Leeds" at 53.7%, "Liverpool" at 70.3%, "Newcastle" at 66.5%, "Tottenham" at 91.8%, "West Ham" at 50.8% and "Wolverhampton" supporters as well.
Some respondents said they still have serious concerns about "Manchester City", especially because of the club’s 115 alleged rule breaches. Even so, many of them made clear that they would still prefer "Manchester City" over "Arsenal". One supporter summed up that mood bluntly, saying: “Anyone but "Arsenal".”
After 31 rounds, "Arsenal" lead the Premier League table with 70 points. "Manchester City" are second with 61 points, but they also have one game in hand, which could prove decisive in the title race.
