Alexander Nübel will not remain at Bayern

Although Bayern goalkeeper Alexander Nübel's contract with the club runs until 2030, his future in Munich remains in doubt. Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund confirmed that the goalkeeper is not part of the club's plans and will leave the team. This is reported by Goal.com .

The club management has made a clear decision regarding the future of the 29-year-old goalkeeper, who is currently on loan at VfB Stuttgart. According to Freund, due to the contract extensions of Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich, as well as the signing of Jonas Urbig, there is no place for Nübel in the starting lineup.

Alexander Nübel joined Bayern from Schalke in 2020. However, he has made only four official appearances for the Munich club. Since 2021, the player has been on loan at AS Monaco and VfB Stuttgart.

Although the VfB Stuttgart management wants to sign the goalkeeper on a permanent basis, financial constraints are preventing this. Therefore, the future destination of the goalkeeper, who has played three matches for the Germany national team, remains unknown.
