NuclearN raises $10.5M to bring AI into the nuclear industry

NuclearN has secured $10.5 million in funding to help bring artificial intelligence into the nuclear energy sector, TechCrunch reported. Investors include Venrock and Innovation Endeavors.

The company aims to automate tasks such as inspections, data analysis, and safety monitoring at nuclear facilities using AI. This is expected to improve both efficiency and safety across the industry.

NuclearN noted that many processes in the nuclear field are still manual and paper-based. By digitizing them, the company hopes to reduce delays, cut errors, and lower operational costs. Its technology is currently being piloted at several U.S. reactors.
