Insurance startup Corgi reaches $1.3 billion valuation

Business insurance startup Corgi announced on Wednesday that it raised $160 million in an investment round led by TCV. As a result of this funding, the company's total valuation reached $1.3 billion. Founded in 2024 by Nico Laqua and Emily Yuan, the startup was a participant in Y Combinator's Spring 2024 batch. Corgi's clients include major companies such as Deel and Artisan. The startup provides general liability, cybersecurity, and technology and AI-related insurance services.
Investors such as Kindred Ventures, Leblon Capital, and First Order Fund also participated in this investment round. So far, Corgi has not responded to a request for additional comment regarding this financial news.
