AWS and Superblocks Launch Major Partnership

Superblocks, a startup specializing in the new "vibe-coding" technology in artificial intelligence and programming, has signed a multiyear joint marketing agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). According to Ixbt.com, the agreement will enable the tool to be integrated directly into AWS customers' private cloud systems and securely deployed by enterprises. TechCrunch.com reports this.

The main advantage of the new partnership is that any large enterprise using AWS services and subscribed to Superblocks can enable its employees to create applications without programming skills. The applications and data created in this way are not sent to third-party model providers or external databases; instead, they run directly in Amazon Aurora databases within the company's private cloud.

Security and Privacy as Priorities

These applications will also connect directly to the Amazon Bedrock platform. As a result, the programs being created will not be considered uncontrolled or unsanctioned applications; they will operate under comprehensive corporate IT security and audit controls. According to Superblocks CEO and co-founder Brad Menezes, the main goal is to bring the technology closer to the customer's data in its private cloud, ensuring that information never leaves it.

AWS will help actively promote the startup among its Marketplace partners. According to Amazon representatives, the company supports mutually beneficial partnerships based on customer demand. Although AWS does not yet have a "vibe-coding" agent for business users, this move represents an important strategic step for the cloud giant.

Broader Market Changes and Cloud Provider Strategy

The agreement is a major achievement for the young Superblocks startup, which has 50 employees and raised a total of $60 million in a Series A funding round announced in May 2025. Spark Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, and Greenoaks were among the prominent funds that participated in the financing.

However, experts say this is not simply support for a single startup but reflects a global trend in the cloud provider market. Major cloud infrastructure companies are encouraging corporate customers to separate AI models from the other tools needed to manage them and to perform this work exclusively within their own cloud environments.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella had previously also advocated that enterprises use different models to reduce costs and avoid dependence. He argued that AI labs are not secure enough for application-level management because they could use the data to later compete with businesses. Such approaches in the market are enabling enterprises to reassess their strategies and choose secure solutions.
