In 2025, medical services became more expensive, the largest increase was in the laboratory

According to the National Statistical Committee, a significant increase in the cost of medical services was observed in the country during 2025. The fact that price increases in some areas have exceeded the "psychological threshold" of 10 percent has had a direct impact on the daily expenses of the population.
The figures published at the end of the year indicate that prices have shifted upward for almost all major types of medical services:
- dental services became more expensive by an average of 5.1%;
- Medical laboratory services increased by 10.3%;
- outpatient treatment services increased by 9.4%;
- diagnostic visualization services (such as ultrasound, MRI, CT) increased by 9.1%;
- Inpatient treatment and rehabilitation services will increase by 7.5%.
As can be seen, the largest increase was due to laboratory services. This means that the cost of analyses, tests, and various tests was the fastest "run" direction throughout the year. At the same time, there is also an increase in the cost of outpatient treatment and diagnostic services - these categories are among the services most frequently used by the population.
According to experts, changes in the cost of medical services can be formed under the influence of several factors. In particular, inflationary processes, rising service costs, the cost of consumables, as well as costs associated with the use and maintenance of modern equipment, are likely to exert pressure on prices.
In short, 2025 once again showed the trend that "prices don't stand still" in the medical services market. Now the most important question for the population is whether this increase will continue in 2026 or the situation will stabilize somewhat.
