Over four million tourists visited Uzbekistan in four months

In the first four months of 2026, the number of foreign tourists visiting Uzbekistan exceeded 4 million. According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 4,048,417 foreign citizens visited our country for tourism purposes between January and April.
This figure is significantly higher compared to the same period last year. Specifically, the number of tourists increased by 930,800, or 29.9 percent. This demonstrates the growing reputation of Uzbekistan as a tourism hub in the region.
The highest number of tourists to Uzbekistan came from the Kyrgyz Republic. Over the four-month period, 1,141,581 citizens from this country visited our nation. Tajikistan and Kazakhstan followed. This indicates active movement with neighboring countries and strengthening regional tourism.

In short, Uzbekistan has gained good momentum in the tourism sector. Over 4 million foreign guests in four months is not just a number, but a major economic opportunity. The main task now is to ensure tourists leave satisfied and return again.
