A new feature has been launched in Uzbekistan allowing citizens to monitor and personally verify international courier shipments registered in their name. Now, every citizen my.gov.uz can track shipments arriving in their name in real-time and verify them via the portal.
According to the new system, when an international shipment arrives for a citizen, my.gov.uz a push notification is sent to their personal cabinet on the portal. If the user actually placed the order, they confirm the shipment. If there is an error in the information or the shipment was not ordered at all, there is an option to reject it.
Through the service, one can check basic shipment details such as weight, price, and contents. Additionally, a quick decision can be made for each shipment using the “Confirm” or “Reject” buttons. This helps prevent the illegal use of citizens' passport data by third parties.
The new feature is expected to speed up customs clearance, reduce potential misunderstandings during cargo receipt, and protect citizens from unauthorized shipments. The service my.gov.uz is available for use via the “Customs” section on the portal.
