Tensions between Iran and Israel have once again led to serious consequences — one of Israel’s largest oil refineries, located in the city of Haifa, has completely ceased operations following a missile strike carried out by Iran. This was reported by one of the country’s major media outlets — Yedioth Ahronoth, referring to information from Bazan Group.
It is reported that all main facilities of the refinery were damaged as a result of the attack. Israeli Channel 14 described the situation as a major threat to infrastructure and reported that three people were killed in the incident and significant material damage was inflicted. Video footage broadcast by the channel shows the destruction caused by the strikes.
In a statement issued by Bazan Group for the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, it is said:
“Due to severe damage to the power station, all oil refining facilities have been temporarily shut down. The company is currently working on restoring part of the power supply, but the attacks are ongoing.”
Bazan Group also emphasized that the attacks were carried out not only with missiles but also with the help of drones.
On the same day, significant developments occurred in Iran as well — due to Israeli strikes, operations at the country’s largest gas field, South Pars, were temporarily suspended. This situation once again confirms how dangerously the bilateral military conflict is escalating.
In a statement released by representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, it is emphasized that the ninth wave of the “True Promise 3” operation began a few minutes ago and will continue without interruption until morning, with both missiles and drones being used extensively.
