Kyrgyzstan plans to introduce new restrictions on the sale of alcohol

A new bill aimed at regulating the sale of alcoholic beverages in Kyrgyzstan has been submitted for discussion. According to the document, it is proposed to prohibit the sale of alcoholic products from 23:00 to 08:00.
These restrictions do not apply to cafes and restaurants, as well as duty free stores. At the same time, at the initiative of the law, it is planned to prohibit the sale of alcohol at a distance of 100 meters from central squares, parks, and recreational areas.
If the draft law is adopted, it is expected that these measures will serve to protect public order and public health.
