Interest in individual housing construction is growing among the population of Uzbekistan. In January-August 2025, 35.4 trillion soums were spent by citizens on housing construction. The National Statistical Committee provided official information about this.
According to the data, this indicator increased by 13.3% compared to the same period last year. This indicates that the demand for housing and construction opportunities in the country are expanding.
According to the committee, the volume of individual housing construction in the total volume of construction work amounted to 18.8%. This indicator testifies to the growth of private initiatives, family investments, and local needs.
The large amount of funds directed by the population to housing construction indicates the high activity of the domestic construction market in the country's economy. This leads, on the one hand, to the creation of jobs, and on the other hand, to an increase in demand for construction materials.
