After the meeting of the Special Commission, the head of the presidential administration Saida Mirziyoyeva, together with officials, conducted a night raid to check illegal greenhouses that negatively affect the environmental situation. In an interview with the head of one of such facilities, he explained that his activities are harmful to public health and demanded an immediate cessation of this practice.
"This is wrong, illegal. You make a living, and we breathe this air. Stop it... "The health of our people, our children, is very important," Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
As noted at today's meeting, the work being carried out to improve the environment is not a one-time campaign. Despite the temporary improvement in air quality, measures in this direction will be consistently and systematically continued. It was emphasized that every leader must deeply understand the significance of this work.
"The health of the nation is a priority for our president. We will not stop until the problem is fundamentally solved," Saida Mirziyoyeva said at the meeting.
Recall that on November 24, after the increase in air pollution in Tashkent, Saida Mirziyoyeva held an emergency meeting with responsible agencies, after which, by decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, environmental measures were approved and a special commission was created.
Currently, this commission conducts daily raids on polluting facilities in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region. These efforts are aimed at protecting public health and sustainably improving the capital's ecology.
