Children climb onto cars to beg for money in Markaz-1 (video)

Another concerning situation has drawn public attention in Tashkent. In the Markaz-1 area, dangerous and uncontrolled actions involving underage children are being observed during evening hours. This situation poses a serious risk not only to drivers but also to pedestrians.
According to reports, children are entering the roadway and demanding money from drivers when vehicles come to a stop. Most alarmingly, if a driver refuses to give money, they take drastic action by climbing onto the hoods or even the trunks of the cars. This constitutes an open violation of traffic safety rules and could lead to any tragic situation.
As seen in the footage, some children are climbing onto vehicles and moving without maintaining balance. This increases the likelihood of serious injury or a traffic accident within seconds. Especially, such actions near traffic lights also jeopardize the movement of vehicles behind them.
Experts characterize such incidents as "aggressive begging." This is because the situation resembles extorting money through pressure rather than simply asking for help. Drivers are left with a choice: either give money to reduce the risk or escalate the situation further.
The most serious question is — where are these children coming from and why are they choosing such a dangerous path? Not only law enforcement agencies but also parents and the public must feel responsibility. Because the issue is not just about order, but about the safety of children.
Looking from a future perspective, if these situations are not taken under control in time, they could turn into a major problem. Today it is asking for money; tomorrow it could lead to even more serious law violations.
For now, the most correct decision is to remain calm in such situations and report to the relevant authorities. Because behind a momentary "interesting action" lies a great danger.
