Electric vehicle catches fire while charging in Denau

The interior and front of the silver crossover were engulfed in intense flames.

An electric vehicle caught fire while charging in the Denau district of Surkhandarya region. The incident reportedly occurred on May 26 in the Bogishamol neighborhood.

According to the Surkhandarya Regional Emergency Situations Department, a report was received via the 112 system at 16:22 stating that a Leapmotor C11 electric vehicle had suddenly caught fire while at a charging station.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene immediately. With the participation of two crews, the fire was contained and fully extinguished in a short time.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage are currently being investigated.
