The semi-final stage of the Uzbekistan Cup was full of real dramatic clashes. First of all, in the match in Bukhara, the local "Bukhara" achieved a difficult and emotional victory over "Sogdiana" on their home field and for the first time in their history qualified for the final.
The hosts, who started the match very actively, opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a goal from Dominic Begic. In the 28th minute, a goal by Frane Ikić strengthened the lead. Having gained the advantage in the first half, "Bukhara" faced an unexpected situation in the second half.
In the 72nd minute, Jasur Jaloliddinov reduced the score, and in the final minutes of the game - 90+1 - Filip Ivanovich headed the ball and equalized the score. After the main time ended in a draw, the match went to extra time. In the 117th minute of extra time, Nodirbek Ahmadjonov secured a historic victory for Bukhara with a powerful and accurate long-range shot. This goal determined not only the fate of the match but also the club's history.
