Czech National Team Scores Six Goals Against Gibraltar


The national teams of the Czech Republic and Gibraltar faced off in the final match of the World Cup qualification stage. Although this game did not influence the tournament standings, the hosts approached it responsibly and managed to score five goals in the first half.

In the 5th minute, Patrik Schick delivered a precise pass into the penalty area, and David Doudera escaped his defender to guide the ball into the near corner — 1–0. In the 18th minute, Doudera advanced on the flank and sent a cross to the far post, where Tomas Chory struck to make it 2–0.

In the 32nd minute, following a defensive mistake, Vladimir Coufal fired a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area, adding another goal — 3–0. In the 39th minute, Doudera outplayed his opponent and delivered a sharp pass in front of the goal, allowing Adam Karabec to slot the ball into the near corner — 4–0.

In the 44th minute, Schick controlled the ball in the opponent's penalty area and passed to Tomas Chory, who sent a precise cross to the far post. Tomas Soucek finished it with a header to increase the score to 5–0.

In the 51st minute, Schick made a corner kick, and Jaroslav Zeleny headed the ball toward the far post. Robin Granach struck powerfully to find the back of the net — 6–0.

Later, Doudera initiated a quick attack and passed to Schick, who hit the post. As a result, the Czech Republic finished second in the tournament standings with 16 points, while Gibraltar recorded defeats in all their matches.
