World Championship: Seven Uzbek Boxers to Compete in the Ring Today

World Championship. Today, 7 of our boxers will enter the ring

The Men's World Championship, currently taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has reached an intense stage. Today’s matches are especially significant as the qualification rounds feature several crucial bouts. A number of Uzbekistan’s talented representatives are ready for the next challenge.

The schedule of today’s matches by weight categories is as follows:

  • -67 kg: Asadkhoja Muydinkhojayev vs. Armen Mashakaryan (Iba-Pro);
  • -80 kg: Javokhir Ummataliyev vs. Omurbek Bekjigit uulu (Kyrgyzstan);
  • -92 kg: Turabek Khabibullayev vs. Kalil Luan Brasil (Brazil);
  • +92 kg: Arman Makhanov vs. Uladzislau Smiahlikau (Belarus);
  • -48 kg: Shodiyorjon Melikuziev vs. Anvarjan Khodjiyev (Kyrgyzstan);
  • -60 kg: Abdumalik Khalokov vs. Enrique Kakulov (Spain);
  • -75 kg: Fazliddin Erkinboyev vs. Vakhtang Kharutyunyan (Armenia).

These matches mark the next steps in the tournament for our boxers, while providing fans an opportunity to offer their steadfast support. The competition is fierce, and every moment in the ring plays a decisive role.

According to the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, the first program will begin at 6:00 PM Tashkent time, with the second starting at 10:00 PM. Throughout the evening, several young and experienced members of the national team will step into the ring to fight for new opportunities.

Our athletes are expected to demonstrate superior technique, mental resilience, and exceptional skill. Undoubtedly, they will do their utmost to justify the faith of their loyal supporters.
