
The World Championship for men, currently underway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has entered its most intense stages. On the agenda for the quarterfinals, 11 skilled boxers from Uzbekistan entered the ring, with each showcasing their utmost abilities in front of an eager audience.
The bout in the 67 kg weight category stood out as one of the evening's most brilliant clashes. Our compatriot, Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev, faced off against Kazakhstan’s representative, Sanatali Toltayev, demonstrating exceptional preparation. From the very beginning, the match unfolded at a rapid pace: Moydinkhojayev kept his opponent under pressure with precise strikes, strategic tactics, and determination.
At the end of the intense and uncompromising match, the judges unanimously awarded victory to the Uzbek boxer with a score of 4-1. This triumph not only secured Moydinkhojayev's place in the semifinals but also boosted the overall team morale.
As a reminder, another important duel awaits us ahead. Our compatriot, Fazliddin Erkinboyev, is set to compete against Azerbaijani boxer Saidjamshid Jafarov soon. This clash will also be among the key highlights of the quarterfinal stage.
